The RB6 and RB14 are about the same weight. give or take 1/2 oz.

AHAZ- I will order you the Kim unless you want the jims.
We can let the court decide...lol

Just got off the phone with Mauro. He was very helpful...can't wait for the RRDG and 1947s!

Mauro, I had a pair of dry Jims, and had to give them up. The hips were too tight and the crotch was too low, all of which combined to make me walk like a penguin. The only feedback I've gotten so far is that the Kim is as thin as the Finn, just with a lower rise. I'm actually at a loss for choices. No way you can get the 1980 KMW in 29x34?

I think the Dry Jims are a great jean. Did you size down or something? I have had my Greycasts for 3 months now and they have worn and stretched out like crazy. They fit really tight for the first few weeks/month but then they sorta become a looser fitting jean (they hang off my a#% now). I bought mine in my true size 32 and could definetly go down to a 31 on em. To each his own i guess.

Mauro,

How much for the Nudie RR Dry Selvedge and Nudie RR Greycasts? Do you have them in a 29? Also, do you carry Helmut Lang?

Thanks

I bought mine in a 29x34, and had no problem buttoning them when they were brand new. Within a week, they were quite loose in the wasit. I made a post about it, but I guess it's been lost in the Great Crash.

Basically, the damn jean prevented me from lifting my knee very high, which was all kinds of annoying for stepping up, tying my shoes, bending over, etc. The Finn did the same thing to me when I tried it on, but it wasn't as bad due to having lycra/elastine.

The RR Dry selvage is $264.00 and the Greycast is $185.
I don't carry Helmut Lang

Does Nudie rip you off on the RRDS or is it customs duties and stuff? My GF was able to buy some for me in Spain on sale for $130 or something like that, I'm just curious.

Oh, and how much are the Slim Kims?

I believe it has to do with the U.S. distributor or "Merchandise Rep" however you want to put it, they are most likely the ones jacking up the price to U.S. stores. Take the Vass thread for example

Jamesbond is right.
I have to go through a distributor and that jacks the price up not to mention the euro is whuppin up on the dollar.
$130.00 even in Europe is cheap for RRDS.

Rag and bone fits as such

RB6 is the classic slim fit that has a curved inseam so it lays better on the leg

RB14 is based off a vintage wrangler and has a higher rise but ment to be worn lower.

RB11 is the slimmest it has a shorter rise and straight leg.

Don't ask about he RB1 because I didn't buy it
