they fall apart more quickly than regular chucks, but I still love mine. They look better, and are much more comfortable than than regular converses. buy them, you won't regret it.

fall apart more quickly? The two pairs I've had seemed to be of much better construction with nice lining, better fabric and sturdier soles. And the thick insoles are nice too. Why would they charge two or three times more and downgrade the materials? Edit: Oh, I didn't look at the pair you linked. Them's ugly. The ones I've had were low profile Chucks.

I've never actually paid full price for JV Converse but materials are better and they're comfortable from the start. I don't see why you shouldn't buy them, although the shoes in the link aren't my favorite.

I've had mine a year and they are a month from retirement, my regular chucks, with just as much wear last about 2 years.

+1 on them falling apart relatively quickly. I've had mine for little over a year and they're ready to throw out. soles are completely falling off, started seperating at the toe a few months ago. granted, I did wear them quite a lot, and they are really comfy and look better than regular chucks. I'd say they're worth it

+1. Have several pairs, they're great. Dunno how you guys are getting them to fall apart faster than regular Chucks.

i have bought multiple pairs of varvatos at different times and none of them show any crazy wear or separation. I love these shoes, very comfortable insoles and i love the look of the multi-lace eyelets.

jv cons look are and fit well, but yes they do fall apart somewhat quite quickly. the rubber weltish area on 3 out of 5 pairs of mine are cracked from the shoe where they bend. still cool beater shoes anyway
