What's up with TZ? 0 tolerance?

I have an issue with my Timezone account.
Let me preface by saying that I've been on TZ for over 3 years (at least), and have had over 350 high dollar transactions with never any problems whatsoever - I'd guestimate about $1million worth of buying and selling.
A friend asked me to sell an Omega Planet Ocean for him. He deals in diamonds, and got the PO in as a trade and asked for some help in moving it. I said sure. I listed it and the next day got a pm from a TZ-er saying to check it out, it looks fake-ish. I popped the back and lo and behold it was a fake.
I immediately revoked the sale and apologized. I hadn't known as I had never seen a PO before.
All was fine and dandy. On friday I log in and I get an error that I'm permanently banned from the site. I emailed a mod and asked why, and was told because I listed a fake watch for sale!
What up with that?!?

Playing a bit of Devil's advocate...

After transacting $1 mm in watches you never saw a Planet Ocean? That is a pretty mainstream watch if you ask me. Also, you could not tell it was a fake having the real thing with you but someone spotted it through a pic? Kind of strange also.

It sucks that you got banned, but I guess the TZ people must have thought along the lines of what I mentioned above.

I rarely touch Omegas since they're hard to move..I got it from a knowledgeable friend (or so I thought) so I didn't think to question it....
