Travelling tips

I'm thinking of travelling interstate at the end of the year and I was brainstorming many options for how to compact the items of clothing I'm planning on bringing with the trip. Here's what I thought:

Shoes - an extra pair with each shoe wrapped in a basic shoe bag (if your familiar with Gram shoes)
Blazers - loosely rolled with sleeves tucked inside and using something like the shoe bag too?
Button down shirts - all folded neatly on top of each other. However, maybe a small cover bag to house them all too?

Do you think have some sort of fresher like cedar inside the luggage case is overdoing it? And are what I have describe above good directions?

I think you're on the right track. A freshener is a good idea if you are in hotels, sometimes your clothes can take on the smokey smell in hotels. Also, since you are traveling in the winter, think about rain and snow wear. Good luck.
