From what i've seen, the stuff looks like it tries to compete with the Theory, Tahari, Perse aesthitic. Some call it minimal some call it plain, I call it overpriced.

I can't say they are trying to be Theory or Tahari considering that Vince seems to only make just the basics and sweaters. The brand doesn't really feel like a complete brand and their main focus seems to be sweaters for the most part.

Quality seems good enough and the fit is really fitted compared to others, I haven't found much in the same price range that fit as slim. Just like any designer brands out there, they are ovepriced at retail but on sale, they are great. All the Vince pieces I have were purchased on sale, at least 30% off and I couldn't be happier. You're mainly paying for the design and fit first, quality second when it comes to this brands, although quality isn't really that bad at all.

The cashmere is quite soft but also very thin

It's nice, but seems to go on sale at Gilt like every other week, don't pay full price for it, if you can buy on Sale it is worth it.

Good true/slim fit, very soft fabrics.

Super old thread but I had a Vince question but didn't think it merited a new thread.

I really like the sweaters and I have a few. I bought a pair of jeans a while back and never really wore them. I just started wearing them and I find them really comfortable. They did fit a bit small but it seems like they have stretched out or something because they are really comfortable. Does anyone know anything about the denim? Does anyone else make a similar fit/material? Nowhere in my area do they sell Vince denim (to me knowledge).

I don't think anyone on here wears their denim. Also they probably have different cuts so you'd have to be more descriptive. Your best bet would be to take measurements and ask in the Questions or the I have a jean threads.

Fair enough. To be honest, I can't find any information about their denim anywhere. I don't know much about denim but I do know that these are more comfortable than what I currently own. Just thought I would take a stab at it. In terms of the cut, they are like the Levis 511. Thanks for the advice though.

Any pair of jeans that are blended with a little stretchy fabric (lycra, elastene, etc) will be more comfortable than regular cotton jeans. Maybe look for one of them. Uniqlo uses them
