Headphone Amplifier and USB DAC?

I will ask this on HeadFi also, but since I find it difficult to parse the good advice from the useless on that forum, I thought I'd check here first... Anyone have a USB DAC and/or headphone amplifier they are happy with? Lets try to keep it to under $600 for both. They'll be powering a pair of Ultimate Ears 5s and, eventually, either Sennheiser 580s or a nice pair of Grados. Edit: This will stay on my desk--doesn't need to be portable.

So, in case anyone's interested, I pulled the trigger on the apparent HeadFi favorite and a pair of Sennheiser HD650s.

I don't care if it sounds good, but it looks like enthusiast DIY at its worst. Who designed that hideous logo?

I've noticed a lot of apparently high-end hi-fi firms have the most appalling graphics.

I suspect a number of those firms are essentially rather well-funded enthusiast DIY projects.

You must not see the brands I look at. Some are quite nice. Have you seen the new TAD SACD player? Or the PS Audio Perfect Wave Transport. The design in many places is quite good and the print graphics can be equally fine but it depends on the size of the firm.
