Hand rolled pocket squares - Page 6

I'd like one white linen pocket square. Please add me to the list and let me know when you need me to pay. I am happy to support you in your endeavor to pay for school. I'm doing much the same right now.

Thanks.

Just an update. Crosstalker is the last person in line for a white linen. I will not be ordering any more white linen for a while so that I can introduce other colors. Sorry about this. I'll bring back white linen in about 6 months or so. Thanks for all your support.

Hi, did I make the list and if so what do you think the rough waiting time is? No biggie but if I need to persue another option I can (but would like to support a student/forum member). Thanks!

^^^ Ditto. Wondering if I made the list. I PM'd about 3 weeks ago.

The list is long. I have 3 exams next week and 2 exams the week after that. And then finals the week after that. I'm very sorry but it looks like I won't be making any for the next 3 weeks or so. Sorry. After that, I have a free week off. Will try to fill every order during that week. Will try to make 8 or 9 per day during that week. Here are the latest color choices as of March 2010. I will introduce pink cotton gingham and solid navy linen shortly (maybe by Tuesday, March 16).

I just received an order of assorted pocket squares from Son and they are excellent. The quality of the hand-rolled edges is very nice indeed and Son kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know when he'd finished, when he'd mailed them, and he told me of the USPS shipping details, too. Highly recommended. Thanks, Son.

Here are the two new additions: 1) A navy linen that is absolutely amazing. The fabric is a bit softer than the white linen and is a pain in the ass to roll its edges but in the end, the result is a truly amazing pocket square. I currently only have enough fabric to make 5 more (I'm keeping the first to myself) but I will be reordering it if demand is high enough. Usual price of $20 for US and $21 for non-US. Size is 13x13 inches. To order, simply PM me and describe it as Navy Linen to get in the waitlist. 2) The second update is a pink cotton gingham. It is the same scale as the red, lime, and navy cotton gingham (8 squares per inch). 13 x 13 inches. To order, simply PM and describe it as Pink Cotton Gingham to get on the waitlist. I'm making about 1-2 per day on weekdays and 2-3 on weekends so if demand is high, the list might get long. All other colors above are still available. And again, all this is to pay for optometry school. Thanks for the support everyone.

Got my white one recently - love it! Great price and I like helping out with someone's education. I just hope he doesn't hurt his eyes squinting at the stitching

Even if he does hurt his eyes he can fix them himself!

No worries. I've calculated the additional vergence of having to focus that close and I wear +3.00 lenses to prevent my anatomical lens from having to accommodate any further while making these. In essence, I wear reading glasses while making these.

I love that I can't tell if this is facetious or not!

AlanC, a long time member here, donated a shirt from Turnbull and Asser in pink minigingham check (appears pink, but is the result of the red and white checks) with the request that I turn it into pocket squares and that he reserve the right to purchase the first one. Well, I sent him a free one, will be keeping one for myself, and am selling the two remaining. Because of size constraints, the shirt is not the usual 13 x 13 inches but is 12 x 12 inches. The fabric is absolutely amazing and is very lightweight. Since I only have two, I must ration these and will be setting the price at $25 each. The first two to contact me will receive it. About 28 checks per inch. Please PM me and describe this as "Turnbull and Asser minicheck" to be put on the reserve. Lastly, I'd like to thank AlanC for his generous donation. I'll gladly accept donated shirts to be turned into pocket squares and I'll definitely thank the donor with a free pocket square. However, I must reserve the right to refuse based on the quality of the material. All 7 colors above are still available and are still only $20 each (scroll up).
