It is not like Brady elevated Moss to better than what he was. Romo takes what he gets and turns noname WR's into superstars. Look at Miles Austin past couple games.

Yeah, TO was a no name too.

For what it's worth, 80% of Austin's big plays this season have gone like this: catch Romo's short pass, evade defender(s), then run 40+ yds for a touchdown. Yeah, it's all Romo's, all right.

What do Brees and Reggie Wayne have to do together again?

Terrell Owens????

Last year TO was a 1000 yard reciever with 10 TD's when Romo was throwing to him.

This year TO is 281 yards and 1 TD in 8 games without Romo. And TO played in all 8 games. He was not injured.

If Romo was underthrowing Austin by so much then Austin would not have the numbers he has. Or are you saying Austin is a top 5 WR in the whole NFL that makes plays just because he is so good?

I've seen touchdown passes to Austin, and Romo hits him in stride.

Like, twice.

I'm not saying Romo underthrew Austin the other times; what I'm saying, rather, is that, without Austin's breakaway speed and a rare ability to evade pursuers, Romo would have had 3-4 less TDs. (read: Austin bailed Romo, and the Cowboys, out)

Also, Austin is NOT a top 5 receiver. I don't assess players based on half a season. Even then, Moss, Fitz, Wayne, Vincent Jackson, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith are better players AND have had better seasons.

That is my point. Give Romo a Fitz, Smith, Wayne, or Moss and I gaurentee you the Cowboys are at least 2 wins better. Romo may have a stud TE and good RB, but he needs something better than Crayton and Williams. Witten (a TE) has more reception yards than Crayton (WR) or Williams (WR). And Crayton has more yards than Williams who is supposed to be the #1 WR stud (who also fizzled in Detroit before comming to Dallas).

^ Your point = fail. By your very logic, Roy Williams was a Pro Bowl caliber receiver in Detroit, so his sucking up in Dallas oughtta speak to how inferior Romo is to.... (wait for it).... Jon Kitna. Nice logic.

Also, Brees throws to Colston, Moore, Meachem, and a washed up Shockey. Dallas's combination of Witten, Austin, Williams, Crayton is just as good IMO.

What did Roy Williams do the year before he came to Dallas? Come on, don't put Roy Williams in the same air as Reggie Wayne or Randy Moss or even T.O.. Roy Williams has 6 years in the NFL and only 1 season over 1000 yards. Roy Williams NEVER had more than 8 TD's.

1 word: Megatron.

Look, your boy Romo folded to the Packers today. Would Manning/Brady/Brees/Favre do the same? Please.

nice try champ but romo's jersey isn't top 5 in the NFL and i think it was a giants linebacker that said "money can't buy heart, the superdome was 10 times louder than this place the last time we played there" in reference to your fancy stadium. enjoy your inevitable meltdown, though. disclaimer: saints fan who hates the cowboys.

You can't blame Romo for the loss or the half a dozen sacks he took today. Romo did not put up bad numbers. Romo is on pace to throw for 4000+ yards this season with no real #1 WR.
