Bought the Elston 608 slim pants at Sears earlier. Had to settle for tan since they did not have the other color I wanted (forgot what its called)

as are the Oak Street shoes/boots, nice to see them working with somebody like OSB as their house brand shoes were pretty bad.

They`re well worth the price. Thinking of getting the Comer 608 in rich mustard next. I already have the light beige. Bought them for $10 more at the store but at $50 online and free return and shipping, it`s a no brainer. Better than the w+H wp IMO. Any sale would be nice of course

Is the fit the same as their older slim fit chinos? Also, how thick/heavy is the fabric?

I don`t have their old slim fitting chinos to compare to but I did read that the 608 is their slimmest to date.
My suggestion is to try them on in store

I'm hesitant because the old vintage slim fit chinos fit me pretty well in the thighs, any slimmer would be a problem, and I'm set on chinos for now, not really itching to drop full price on something I know will be a third of that in a month, I'll probably try 'em on in store.
