Lands' End Canvas - Page 188

I really thinking LEC is only good for seasonal shopping. The refined-slim chinos and a few other pieces might be worth full price, but buying their stuff on sale/clearance is where it's at.

So you can use the classifieds for a pair of straight-fit cords at $26 or you can go to the sale section instead and pay $16 (maybe the classifieds are showing last year's cords, but still).

Most of the Spring line seems pretty "meh."

What does everyone think of the navy blue double breasted sweater?

It actually looks appealing to me. I am not sure I am crazy about the buttons though.

That's a detail they've consistently missed from day one. I know LEC costs a small fraction of what it's competitors (jcrew, llbean) charge, but is it really too much to ask that shirt buttons be at least somewhat similar in color to the actual friggin' shirt?

I really recommend the fishermans toggle sweater if anyone was on the fence about it. It fits really well and can be worn easily over other articles. It isn't itchy at all and the hood is a nice touch. There really isn't anything negative I can say about it. It certainly has plently of heft and warmth. It is 35F out today and I wore it as my layer (I live in Alaska so I am used to the cold, others may not wear this at 35F) and it was comfortable.

Anyone know how the straight fit cords fit? I prefer slim fitting pants, but I bought a pair of the straight fit chino's and they were much too wide in the leg.. So I had to give them away..

Seems like they remove the reviews when items hit sale prices.
