They can't seem to get anything right aside from their shirts.

I like LE as a company, but just about everything LEC produces is embarrassing: their "skinny" jeans, blazers, coats, chinos all look ridiculous and fit poorly. I bought a "scarf" once and it was just recycled, left over fabric from one of their shirts! LOL!

You'll get solid construction, a very low price, but the fit is just going to be a joke.

Sorry but there is no way to spin the working buttonholes as anything short of very very dumb on low-end ready-to-wear.
They don't even pre-cut the holes on a $1800 RTW sportcoat with the buttonholes stitched. I don't know who thinks it is a good idea at LEC, but the evidence suggests the person is new to the job. This detail does not add value.

If anyone was curious about the weight or cold-weather ability of herringbone wool trousers, these are extremely warm. I have been wearing them all this week in between -10 to 5F weather up here in Anchorage; it is seriously tough stuff.

I thought fit is all relative to the wearer

All of the mens and womens tees are on sale for $7. A great deal for some basics.

Just got my waxed jacket back from the tailor. Before when I would wear it I would literally have inches of fabric around the waste billowing out, looked horrible...

Now it looks perfect. No extra fabric in the waste, just had the tailor take in the sides a bit, no darts. Fits like it should now. Loving it, most likely my go to jacket now.

$65... Thankfully it was a christmas gift so that was all the damage this jacket did to me. 65 + the original cost would not be ideal for something I bought from LEC...

Would really like to see fit pics. I ended up returning mine rather than incur any further cost for the hope that it might look better afterwards.

And thanks for the heads up on the tees. Picked up a few white v-necks, been waiting on white to drop in price since it used to only be a select few colors. I like the LEC tees because they are slightly longer than the likes of those from JCrew and for this price they are great.

Love to see how your wax jacket came out...BTW, the wax jacket made the Fan Feature Look of the Month on the Lands End Canvas FB site and will be featured in the next catalog with other featured looks:

Sorry for the shitty iphone pics at work currently...
Pictures still shows the waste suppression so they will do.

After tailoring, the fit of that jacket is very close to this one (a fave of mine):
