yea, perfect sense, wasn't thinking. The reviews do say it's heavy. How is the fit on the arms, not too baggy in the bicep/tricep area? Also, i have an order that should arrive tomorrow, got a chambray shirt and a few other stuff, looks like that will fit me too.

Arm's aren't baggy at all. However, I do work out and have bigger arms than most Asians (says my girlfriend lol).

Anyone else noticed that the medium in LEC shirts tracks directly to J. Crew medium shirts, but the Large size in LEC gets bigger in the chest and shoulders than the J. Crew Large? Maybe because as the sizes go up they are marketing a larger audience?

^ plus they don't go past XL, right? People between L and XL can spring for a L and people between XL and 2XL can go for an XL.

Went to check out the LEC store yesterday for the first time - love this stuff. This is exactly the kind of stuff I want and the prices are insaneley low. I think I got like 10 shirts for $150 which is crazy because at J.Crew I can get like 3 things for $150. Perfect basics imo, exactly what I need for work, but that can branch over to casual wear for me too. i'm sold. Sorry to the SA, though, as I tried on like 20 things just to see what size I take in everything. tounge.gif

New fall stuff are up.

That Herringbone coat is tempting, but at $240, its a little steep for LEC. Might have to wait till it goes on the sale+coupon. Also the shoes on that model with the herringbone, look alot like Indy's, maybe there will be a LEC version?

Also, the canvas patterns are so much more colorful and vibrant. Jcrew is stuck in a rut where they constantly play it safe with navy's and blacks.

if any of you guys are looking to experiment with some color on a cheap chino, i'd definitely give these a chance. i got the vintage brick color and they actually look and feel pretty decent, especially for $20. i heard they run a bit large so i sized down 2" and it worked pretty well for me.

Some nice new Fall shirts have shown up like the salt and pepper shirts. But damn, they jacked up the prices on some shirts to 60 bucks -- aproaching J. Crew prices frown.gif They hooked us all with "free hits" last season and now...

Hahaha wow.

^ I've got some Danner Mtn Light IIs and love em, but to me LEC seems to just be a clone of other brands. All their footwear is very reminiscent of other brands, and possibly the whole line in general haha.

Yup...seems to be the case. I mean, $69 ties?

Maybe if the quality of past seasons were a little higher, but I have to be skeptical. Hopefully their sales will still put this stuff into a comparable range a few months down the line.

Almost everything ends up on sale here. Wait it out. Never buy anything from them at retail.
I bought an OCBD for $16 two weeks ago that was priced at $50.

Guys, the price of cotton has shot up, remember?
Explains why many of the core pieces' prices have gone up.

Hey guys, is any feedback/input any of you cool cats can provide me with on this particular sweater (or its crew neck counterpart).

http://canvas.landsend.com/pp/VneckSweater~213740_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::DBB&CM_MERCH=IDX_Sale-_-Men-_-Tops-_-Sweaters-_-S&origin=index

Sizing information would be particularly helpful since I am way too thin for most garments that are not XS.

Really, what I am looking for its a low maintance, wash and wear sweater. It says dry clean or handwash, but I plan on tossing it in the machine on gentle.
