I placed my order last thursday and I still might not recieve it till the 30th!

However, I finally recieved an older order of two chambray's in the colours: Light Navy Stripe and Washed Antique Indigo. These are really great especially the Antique Indigo.

DAMN....it looked so promising.

Then again maybe as the sizes progress (s-->m-->L) the slim fit decreases. I could see a company like Lands End doing that. I'm trying for hope here.

Order came in today, ordered everything about a week ago. Mostly I used the 30% off deal to do some gift shopping.

For myself I got the patterned poplin in Deepest Cobalt/Dark Spruce and a gray wool/silk tie. Overall the quality of the items are a great value for the price. A while ago I copped the red chambray shirt, great piece.

For casual clothes they're a pretty viable go-to alternative to all of the mall brands out there. Quality is probably a notch below J Crew but they have some nice of-the-moment pieces that offer an expedient way to try out some new looks.

I already returned it. I'm about a 46 jacket with a 34 waist.

Yeah, its not good. My first round of orders was all XL stuff. It fit me in the shoulders, hell some of it was even too big, but the rest of the measurements were a complete disaster. This round I went with everything sized L and it was just about as bad. The corduroy jacket was a ******* joke.

Do they recommend 46 for Large? i can't seem to find a outwear size chart. Maybe someone talked to the outstanding CS and got it?

I don't know what they recommend nor would I follow it after having tried on their ****. My jacket size varies so I'm sometimes between sizes. Like I said above, the XL was so large I was swimming in it. The L was more like a wading pool.

Are there any printable in-store coupons floating out there? I live near a Sears that carries the Canvas collection, so I'd like to check it out.

I was looking at that blazer, too. These are the measurements customer service gave me:

GRMNT CHEST: 39
LENGTH (CB): 28.5
ACROSS BACK: 16.75
UPPER ARM: 14.75
SLEEVE (TS): 25.25

Take them with a grain of salt, though--people in this thread have posted their own garment measurements in the past, and they seem to vary in both directions. Not sure if this is inconsistency on LEC's part or with SFers.

Got shipping confirmation for my order today. Looks like they shipped it second day air too, which is pretty awesome. I'm really digging some of the oxfords. Definitely picking one up when I have some spare cash.

It would be interesting to compare with an SFer's measurements this same garment. They do measure differently which, in my mind, makes it look slimmer than it really is.

Just got finished grilling some customer service chat-people and got some info. Essentially, the Heritage Oxford Shirt is 1/2 an inch shorter in sleeve and body length than both the Heritage Striped Oxford and the Garment Dyed Oxford, with the same chest/waist/armhole measurements.

Additionally, the newer model Heritage Pattern Poplin shirts are 1/2 an inch longer in body measurement than the older model Heritage Poplin shirts. I can also attest to their being made of a different fabric; it is thicker (3.9oz per square yard, as opposed to the old 3.7oz per square yard), is not as soft as the older shirts, and makes more of a "crinkling paper" noise when handled.

Finally, the Garment Dyed Oxford I ordered (in purple, which looks pretty nice in person) has a crooked placket that goes towards the right. I guess it's due for a return, which is a minor hassle. Is there a way for me to get free shipping for this, because it is a defective item?

You can probably call/email/chat and complain about it to see if you can get free shipping.

Return shipping isn't free (which is why I like to drop it off in stores instead), but getting the new item shipped out to you is. Just call in and say you're doing a return.
