Anyone else get a hand written postcard from customer service thanking you for your purchase? That's pretty cool to me.

I think these are computer-generated made to look handwritten. I got one for a $12 purchase. Edit: And the postage on mine said $0.80. I'd rather just have the money, thanks.

Someone's probably already posted this, but the print catalog includes a free shipping code (good through 5/23):

VIBRANT (pin is 8242)

I just ordered the pocket square for a total of $1.59, shipped.

I'm such a dick.

Is J Crew paying any attention at all to the canvas line?

Is it affecting JC's pricing on comparable items?

Or, is JC quality so much higher that higher prices are justified?

Great questions. I think this warrants an investigative commission.

Just took a look at some of the new arrivals. What do you guys think about the Harrison Suede Chukka? I actually think they look decent http://canvas.landsend.com/pp/SuedeC...221654_-1.html

Use the code BLOOM30 and pin 2892 through today (Tuesday May 3rd) and you’ll get 30% off the highest REGULARLY priced item in your cart. I tried to apply the coupon on a SALES item and it didn't work. Still a pretty good deal though.

Are pants and shorts TTS for canvas? I'm thinking about ordering a pair of slim fit chinos. I wear 32" waist in D1 dockers for the sake of comparison.

I'm a 32 in D1 as well. Ordered a pair of 32 in the LE slim fit and they were probably about 3" large in the waist, totally unwearable.

pretty sure its +1OR2 INCHES ON WAIST

No chance it was less than 2 for me. A size 30 is probably his safest bet... Just looked: apparently the post I made right after buying them said 2", so yea that's probably the most accurate guess I have.

I'd agree that they're about 2" vanity sized. So if you size down accordingly and don't mind the elephant ear pockets...

Not one of their better items.
