I pulled the trigger on the white chambray, the chinos, the knit polo, and a pair of MacNeils. I want to see how they look. I figure I'll just return them if I don't like them.

Thinking about the grey chambray, but the fit pic on the site makes it look real boxy. It could be i just don't like the fit pic they have on the site..

with the discount code these shirts are like $25 shipped, so I dont get hemming-hawing over getting one or not?

it's returnable, or keep it and use it as a *** rag

**discount code is expired but shirts are still under $30

NOTE: Please see Get Smart's measurements a few posts below, they are more accurate, My measurements are just seam-to-seam.

I wish the collar was done better, it is too floppy and the shape is 'meh'.

Here are some photos:

Last button is hidden under the placket, and there is a discrete logo (saying just 'C') just below the hidden button. It does not show while wearing.

I have to say, that looks great. I can't wait to get mine (white) to see how it is. And see how the collar is. The fabric looks terrific, and nice detailing, too. I am also a big fan of their quality - never an issue with LE.

I received my order as well. The chambray in grey and a OCBD in light blue. Both fits are great on me (size L, 5'10 190lbs), was pleasantly surprised. Quality of the fabric is top notch for the price as well, IMO far better than Gap, Martin+Osa, and JCrew.

Strange, those measurements are very different from the ones that Lands' End measured. They must have different measuring methods.

It seems that a size "S" Canvas shirt is equivalent to a 36R suit. I'll have to get an "M," assuming that it's like a 38R.

I've been a big fan of LE's tailored fit OCBDs and dress shirts for a while now. (LE Canvas shirts uses the same size charts as their tailored fit). I haven't found any other shirtmaker that offers their quality at such an affordable price point.

Did anyone order LE Canvas sweaters or rugby shirts? Regular LE sweaters fit HUGE, it would be great if the Canvas one were slimmed down ...

got a size Small navy poplin shirt

size-wise measures

21" across chest
20" across torso
25" sleeve

so it's def about same as J Crew small

fabric could be nice if it were a bit thicker, as it is it's quite thin and will be serviceable for a few wears before becoming a $25 cumrag

same price point I like LL Bean shirts better

I ordered the V-Neck sweater with my two shirts. It is a very light/thin sweater, but the fit on me was slim for a size L, see my previous post for my height/weight. Of course, after reading a lot of the posts here it seems I may be a bit larger than the average SFer who wears XS, so YMMV.
