This has been my experience with photo equipment on CL as well. Actually, most things that depreciate quickly/go through relatively fast product cycles seem to be generally overpriced there.

Get the T2i, I'll probably be picking one up around the holidays. Great picture quality and body only can be found at $600-$700 if you really shop around. Could also get lucky on Ebay (if you trust it), saw a couple of 7Ds go for $900ish (though that isn't including a macro lens)
