New Canali Double Monks; SOLD

That was quick. Thanks theyare

The are new Canali antiqued brown double monks, marked "43." I would estimate that the fit a 10D-10.5D. I have my eyes on another pair of shoes so these must go (hey, I'm a minimalist).

I believe Canali shoes are made by Settantatre, which was founded by some ex- Sutor folks.

$200 plus actual shipping. Trees not included.

Amazing shoes!!! Good price too.

I've handled those shoes before and they're excellent and that is a great price!

I know they're sold (and the price is good imo) but FTR, these look like they were a store return that were likely worn and reconditioned, which is what the two holes indicate if they came from Nordstrom Rack. Probably not much wear but it's hard to tell from the pics since the soles look like they were painted over.

Boy, I feel like I've been called a liar. When I purchased these, I was told they "were only tried on and in mint condition" as well as "the bottom right out-sole has been marked with two small circular marks to prevent retail return. In no way does this affect the shoes."

If they were worn (anywhere other than carpet), wouldn't the heels and leather/uppers be imperfect, which they are not (they are absolutely perfect).

Dude, don't sweat it. Those shoes for that price was a tremendous deal regardless of their actual background. That was one of the best buys for shoes I've seen in awhile on here.

Every reconditioned shoe that I have ever seen at Nordstrom Rack had the soles painted black.

I don't know anything about reconditioned shoes, but I do know this: A) those were nice shoes at a nice price, and; B) the rubber part of the sole shows a tiny bit or wear (disoloration), and there is visible creasing like they were tried on Which sounds like what the op was saying.

I bought a brand new pair of these same shoes from Nordstrom for about $260 last Christmas. They are sweet!

I feel like Canali shoes don't get enough play around here; they are consistently good. Much more consistently than Santoni FAM.

Regardless of the background, at the price listed they were a steal. I saw these as they were posted up and debated on buying them (I'm a 1/2 size larger than what they are marked as), and by the time I decided to send a PM they were sold.

I am by no means implying you are a liar or being deceitful. The asking price is very fair considering the shoes' like new condition. I could be wrong since it's hard to tell from the pics but the shoes just look to me like they were lightly worn (perhaps only once, or twice at most) and the soles repainted, which some stores do in order to resell them. The minor wear on the heels and uppers would be consistent

That said, I'm sure whoever bought them will be happy regardless so don't worry about it. I'm not accusing you of lying.

Perhaps, but I know that other stores will paint them tan to match the original color - not sure about the Rack.
