....came from my kitchen saturday night! unfuckingbelievale. had a bunch of people over and made al carbon tacos with homemade mexican crema. marinated flank in salt, pepper, oo, garlic and lime juice.
grilled them with some well-oiled sliced vidalias. homemade guac and pico de gallo. unbelievably good. even made my own corn tortillas.

of course cilantro-in the guac, the pico and sprinkled fresh on top. goes without saying.

sounds good kunk! we made some very 'OK ' chicken tacos last night. cut up some grilled cutlets, chopped an onion, avacoado, cilantro, squirt of lime, and pico d.g. for a capper. left the tortillapress in the cabinet and went w/ store-bought. beans on the side....

Why do we keep using corn for tortillas? Agri-business and their subsidies have brainwashed us into using corn for everything. You should have made them out of hemp.

I make some pretty good guacamole.

Is the taste between homemade corn tortillas and the supermarket stuff that far off?

I have been craving some good and cheap mexican food. Haven't found a good place in manhattan yet.

right down the street from your work, a place called Taco Tacto, 89/2nd. Excellent tacos on corn tortillas. Guacamole is also great but pricey.

...from a fan of legit Mexican food.
