As far as I know and due to my personal experience. The size and style of the medaillon is a mixture of "house" style and historic patterns.
For example: Ludwig Reiter(RTW) is always very authentic with
"our" classic styles. Their models are a good reflection to the heritage of the past. They run a customization program, but I have no idea, if they offer a "change" of the toe medaillon.
