I want to get a pair of cream cashmere/flannel pants with side braids like dinner pants. These would go great with that. Somewhere on my list is also a chocolate coloured vicuna/alpaca cape with brown frogging. That too can be added to this mix. Something like this would be good for afternoon operas and other similar occasions.
I think we have all seen the black watch dinner pants with grosgrain down the outer seam. Some of the other tweeds out there would work well with brown trim. These are a long term thing. If they get worn a few times a season, they are fun enough to justify the closet space.
When I saw these, thought it was unlikely that I would stumble upon something like this again. Not that keen that I would get these made at custom prices, so pulled the trigger.
I once tried on these beautiful dark navy suede captoes that fit me very well. The had a belt in my size too. Passed on them that time and now I am always looking for something like that. Tempted to go MTM but hard to justify the cost for something so out there.
In my new job, many of my days are spent wearing a white goretex jumpsuit (Bunny suit). This is not me (Obviously after spending so my time here, I look better)

Even an ironed shirt gets the "Interviewing???" commentary. and just a little bored with the business appropriate dressing in the grays and blues. There are days I wish I could wear this to the meeting. It might just wake them up.
