If that is what suits your fancy, I can let you borrow them.

I want to get a pair of cream cashmere/flannel pants with side braids like dinner pants. These would go great with that. Somewhere on my list is also a chocolate coloured vicuna/alpaca cape with brown frogging. That too can be added to this mix. Something like this would be good for afternoon operas and other similar occasions.

I think we have all seen the black watch dinner pants with grosgrain down the outer seam. Some of the other tweeds out there would work well with brown trim. These are a long term thing. If they get worn a few times a season, they are fun enough to justify the closet space.

When I saw these, thought it was unlikely that I would stumble upon something like this again. Not that keen that I would get these made at custom prices, so pulled the trigger.

I once tried on these beautiful dark navy suede captoes that fit me very well. The had a belt in my size too. Passed on them that time and now I am always looking for something like that. Tempted to go MTM but hard to justify the cost for something so out there.

In my new job, many of my days are spent wearing a white goretex jumpsuit (Bunny suit). This is not me (Obviously after spending so my time here, I look better)

Even an ironed shirt gets the "Interviewing???" commentary. and just a little bored with the business appropriate dressing in the grays and blues. There are days I wish I could wear this to the meeting. It might just wake them up.

Cross posting these Santoni suede numbers with the dark toe treatment for something casual and fun.

I also bought some G&G brown suede Buccleugh Friday at the trunk show in San Francisco. I should have them in a few weeks since they are not MTO. I'll post those when they arrive.

Okay, nothing exciting, just more of my boring AEs. These are Delrays. I've had 'em for several years and in the next year or two might send 'em in for recrafting. Very comfy.

I love these. I find that unpinched bow looks better than the pinched bow.

Wanted to post mine for consideration. All of these acquired within 2 years:

Top Left: c&J Hallam, AE Mcclain, Grenson Headingley
Bottom: Tyrwhitt, Barney's (dont know name), Johnston Murphy

Let me know what you think!

Nice Trailer. Like the Grenson.

thanks. the Grenson's seem to be getting a lot of attention, especially since I got them brand new for $200. they are from the Rose collection and are very nice shoes.

Just got these new suede moc-toe RL Chukkas off E-bay for a cool $105. Can anyone confirm from the markings that these are C&J benchmade? And does anyone know if this is the same as a past C&J model or if its an RL custom job? (For what I paid, I don't much care, but am wondering...) And what do y'all think of wearing these (and other darker suede shoes) in spring/summer?
I bid on those (but not much since they're not my size) and was surprised they ended so low; they looked new an unworn. They are indeed C&J for RL though I don't know the C&J name. I would definitely wear these from spring to fall with any kind of casual outfit and even jeans. You got an excellent deal on a great pair of boots - enjoy!
