+1 This medallion is really beautiful! I have so far been reluctant to buy a shoe on the 341, but now I am reconsidering. I've got an eye on the C&J Chalfont (wingtip monk) and might now pull the trigger. Thanks for sharing, Clark!

You're welcome!

Me and my brother also bought the Swansea on the 341 last as a 60th birthday present for my father. It is a derby brogue in dark brown with Dainite sole. Also very nice and sleak, despite having the slightly clunkier rubber sole.

The Chalfont is on the 324 last according to the C&J catalogue though, but it does have the same medallion.

/C

Ooops! Thanks for pointing that out. I faintly remember a monk on the 341 as well though. Which one was that?

Panzer great shoes, excellent choice. Love to see them again after some wear.

Clark I think you just sold me on C&J, up to now I was a bit reluctant. Nice selection.

I think that medallion works really well with a wing cap - they just seem to "fit" together.

I also like the medallion on the Westfield, which I think works well with a straight cap:

Thanks, guys. I believe the Gherardo has a medallion; these are the "Sguardo"

No, Gherardo is a half-brogue w/medallion.

Nice buys Hoff! Glad the fit works out for you on the SF. So is the 8.5E really a 9 or 9.5? Just curious about the Wilson FAM too - is it one size large?
