Last shoe I'm getting for a while, and my only black ones. Needed an interview/formal shoe.

Are those in snuff suede?

I've had the nubuck ones for a year or so. Strange leather to be honest, but I got used to it eventually. Very high maintenance.

I have those in brown. Great shoes. I wish you could find them on sale more often.

Yes I've got the Chelsea 5's in the nubuck - pretty much a polish with every wear.

Viewing some rowing recently, I was embarassed by a lack of shoes with wet-weather soles. Didn't want to wait for appropriate soles to be put on my normal models, but found these and decided they'll do for at least one winter. The Raleigh especially is more a matter of practicality than taste !

Grenson captoes I got from Gilt. It's really soft and comfortable but I think the leather feels really cheap. Does anyone know if this is from the Rushden Line or Feathermaster? Thanks.
