Thanks, and honestly, I have no idea, but it could be. I asked Tony for a square, but not too square toe. It's not quite as sharp as the black captoes I posted a while ago.

Mi first visual contribiution to the forum.

Zampiere, made by hand in Spain , my country. Sorry for them beaten up, I use them with slim jeans almost all days.

NDC Made by hand in Belgium, I love them with slim suits.

About the nicest pair of shoes I have seen made by G+G, still a little pointy though for me.

My Grenson 'Oscar' arrived today, picked it up as a cheap 'beater' chukka.

I bought the version in 'dark brown' leather. Didn't like the very '2D' and 'flat' brown colour it turned out to be (there was just a tiny bit at the toebox which was 'blackened', so it looked odd to my eyes)...



...so I recoloured and self-antiqued it with black, mahogany, light brown and dark brown dyes/creams. The sand-coloured crepe sole looked a bit odd then with the new upper colour, so I darkened it as well. So without any further ado... presenting my heavily 'modded' Grenson Oscar:

Nice Grenson "Oscar", they look very good.

Although not a well lit picture of the Sandringham's (burnt pine over antiqued burgundy, MTO and designed by Tom Park), it does show the lovely and renovated pink Royal Hawaiian in the background. Leather Soul is currently on the 3rd floor of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.

I suppose it is a mixed blessing wearing the same size shoes as the proprietor of the country's top shoe emporium. The good news is that there is always something interesting in my size in stock. And that is the bad news also.
