Naturally I got the last one in my size and still at 40%, so the damage was only $610

Thank you so much for posting the pictures and information.

I've been dreaming about a shoe of this design for years and was fearful I would have to do EG Top Drawer or G & G Bespoke to get it

For those interested, they still have a 9D and 13D in stock

I am glad you found what you're looking. We have been talking about the RL sale non stop in 2 parallel threads:

http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=64918

http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=64900

You could have saved another 20% on top of the 40% off if you checked the above threads earlier. Many SAs continue to honor the add'l 20% off post May 15 if you ask.

Has anyone purchased shoes from any RLPL store running the 40% discount sale, and a day after the sale, contacting the store successfully to receive the extra 20% discount?

I'm in this predicament...

Thanks Von Rothbart for the update...I'm now wearing my Montgomerys even as we speak

My SA is keeping a lookout for me for any returns of Barend and brown Grant in my size. And he'll honor the add'l 20% off. RL SAs definitely have discretion to apply the add'l discount post May 15.

Since Eustace Tilly asked, Ugolini cordovan wingtips...

Any color differential between the shoes is because of my poor picture taking abilities and the flash hitting them differently.

Remind us what he asked so we can better guess at the answer.

You like? Experts, what would be a fair 'best offer'. BNIB Zegna. Buy now 295.

I love the look. Who makes them for Zegna?

Cheers.

Those are interesting in that the cordovan doesn't appear very cordovan-y.

Word on the street is they have a Joint Venture w/ Ferragamo. Different shoes, same factory.

Yeah. Can someone, or lots of you, educate me on what "shell cordovan" is? I could look it up, but I'd like to get all of your definitions.
