Yes. And John Lobb Paris also makes bespoke shoes -- more expensive than and supposedly better than its UK sibling -- out of its atelier on the Faubourg St Antoine in Paris.

What is the retail price on these Lobbs being sold by modern-vintage?

Some models are older and discontinued but the current models go from $900-$1350.

Sausages is she (Susan Redgrift). She is extremely accommodating and has an incredible reputation. Ask all the questions you want and don't doubt that the shoes will arrive.

Just a question, though. Do rejects have different or unfinished antiquing?

Does anyone know what would classify a show as a Reject?

I asked her what the R stands for and she said she "honestly doesn't know."

There's an imperceptible defect, or a defect like a scratch in an area that will almost never be seen. And they won't come with shoe trees and the like.

I bought a pair of black velvet opera shoes from sausage234 and they are "rejects" but i couldn't find the reject and love the shoes, and at $210 I saved a ton of money off new. I would take a pair of "rejects" at a 80% discount anyday.
