emmanuel didn't win no 5 rounds for sure let alone 8

again, in your opinion.
judges are professionals, and the judges who score these mega fights are the best of the best.
your opinion (unprofessional) is as good as you being a home doctor diagnosing your own sickness based on internet research...
leave it to the professionals, please!

you must not watch enough boxing if you're not familiar with robberies

what happened tonight is the much more marketable fighter who is supposed to co-star in the biggest fight in history, you know which one, got a gift decision because there was too much money on the line

Whitaker got robbed years ago against Chavez for similar reasons

When was the last time you remember a trainer and conditioning coach saying that their fighter had a shitty camp and was out of shape and unmotivated?

Anyone who follows boxing knows that MP probably has lost some of his focus due to all the other crap he does. That's always the thing I've felt would end up hurting him and it certainly did tonight.

Also, 117-111 for JMM is as ridiculous as the 116-112 for MP. JMM deserved the win, but quit being a rank homer.

Or De La Hoya vs Mayweather. Remember that one? Big money fighters get the decisions.

Underlying reason is right, though. Barring a knockout there was almost no way the judges were going to give this one to JMM.

I don't see why manny would be out of shape and unmotivated. He knows better than anyone that Marquez gave him hell twice on two separate occasions before. He felt disrespected by Marquez showing up with the I Beat Pacquiao Twice t-shirt.

Oscar was the greater draw than Floyd though

they tried to rob Floyd in that one and failed

i scored it 7-5 for marquez, and that's being generous to pacquiao. there were at least 2 (middle?) rounds where pac didn't have an answer for jmm. pac looked busy by moving around a lot and feinting, and you saw he got frustrated whenever he threw and missed the double jab, straight left. for whatever reason, pac was tentative and let jmm take the rounds

As I said, I am unsurprised by Pac's problems. The only thing Marquez did before this fight was prepare. Manny was sitting in congress/singing/going on late night with Jimmy Kimmel, gladhanding with celebs, etc, etc. You can't compete at a high level if you're all over the place like that.

I think an eventual Manny vs. PBF fight will hinge on how well Manny can concentrate on the fight. He can certainly beat PBF and despite what a homer like TyCoon will say, the Vegas odds will be close to even for this fight despite both fighter's differing styles. The biggest difference between Manny and Floyd, however, is that Floyd's training is never sub-par. He may be in and out of court and beating up his girlfriends when he's between fights but in the lead-up to a bout he's all business.

Thanks manny pacquiao, bob arum, and top rank for fooling us the whole time about wanting to make the fight everyone wants to see.

So the all the previous times Money ducked the fight it was OK, but now that's Arum and Top Rank it's a problem? Both sides in this thing are slapping boxing fans in the face.

the real question now is will Juan Manuel Marquez agree to another rematch with them and fight them again for the 4th time

lots of things will determined by Juan's decision imo

If I was JMM I'd say no unless it was for outrageous money. There's really no indication he will get a fair shake if they fight again since a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight will still be in the possible future and I doubt JMM wants to get screwed over again. Most people think he won his last fight so what more does he have to prove?
