You know we're theorizing how the Canelo GGG fight could go, but what if it turns out to be an all out war like Hagler Hearns. OMG! I think both fighters have it in them. GGG especially.  You know when GGG gets hit and nods and smiles :nodding:

Hehe, people are claiming Klitschko is ducking Joshua.

Hearn is an absolute master bullshit artist.

Really sad but Pac fight is next week and no seems to really give a damn. Dudes' been averaging 400k PPV buys, wouldn't be surprised if it goes 200k or below this time around. HBO didn't even want to pick it up and I am not sure if Showtime had the option to take it but that didn't happen either. Seems like a full TopRank PPV means the least amount of promotion as possible.

On other and more exciting new, Thurman v Garcia is happening next year on March 4: http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/17885018/show-announces-five-fight-cards-including-two-world-title-unification-fights

Lots of good match-ups next year too:

The boatload of new fights, all being done in association with Premier Boxing Champions, includes the rematch between featherweight titlist Carl Frampton and Leo Santa Cruz, who waged an intense fight of the year candidate on July 30; a super middleweight unification showdown between Badou Jack and James DeGale; and a welterweight unification match between Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia, contingent on Garcia winning a tune-up fight on Nov. 12.

Pacquiao could fight Crawford in a pass-the-torch. Reckon that would make a fair bit.

It's not like he's a pauper anyway. Can make plenty of money in his other job as a corrupt politician.

It's not the money though, it's just that he retired and came back in 7 months (?) and then fight s a bum and no one cares anymore, just a big jump from where he was.

He really should just fight against against good opponents or just stay retired.

And while he did make a lot of money and dude is set for life, you also go to keep in mind that Arum got most of the dudes earnings.

Parker-Ruiz confirmed for WBO title, 10th of December.

Awesome stylistic match up, IMO.

Watched the Ortiz Scott heavyweight fight. What a bore! Can I get those minutes of my life back? Honestly, lost interest after a few rounds. Had it on in the background. Some comical highlights:

-Scott didn't have a mini stool in his corner. His team brought in, what looked like,  those tall blackjack aluminum stools. They had to bring it OVER the ropes. Took a long time, lol

-He held out his hands asking the ref to help him up after he was dropped.

yah it's another cherry pick fight for Garcia but it is supposed to lead to a Thurman fight next and I think that is all we could hope for in this one

I honestly don't think Thurman beats him. But it would be a good slug fest.

we'll see, we know he has a decent chin after Matthysse knocked the mouthpiece off but Thurman is more skilled and as big of a puncher

He just hasn't impressed much lately and he was gifted a win against Herrera who just outworked him

Just watched the Kovalev Ward fight. Boring fight. I thought Kovalev won and it wasn't even close. Hated that Max Kellerman and Hopkins were telling what a great fight it was. And how were were watching 2 great fighters...yada, yada. And, no, I don't wanna see a rematch.

Granted there was a lot of holding and not a lot of combination punching, I still thought it was somewhat entertaining fight. Kovalev brought the wood early but Ward's veteran craftiness negated Krusher's aggression and power.

Ward is the 175 version of Mayweather. Slick but lacks power, doesn't look to close the show, and wins mostly by decision. His track record proves he not an entertaining fighter. Kovalev, on the other hand, looks to anihilate his opponent. His natural power and aggressive style draws both the casual and hardcore boxing fans.

Agreed, the Russian got robbed. I really don't know what the judges were watching. As for the rematch- meh. I'd rather see Sergey bust up Adonis Chickenson in the light heavyweight class.
