That's one persuasive full of shit individual. He convinced the majority of the world of something he himself believe he couldn't do.

Come on now, I thought it meant that he knew he wasn't good enough to win, not that because god showed him.

That title is so misleading, you got to read the article for the full craziness and you'll realize it isn't what it actually meant.

In other news you guys might get Floyd-emmanuel part 2. Lotta boxing articles are bs, but this one is on yahoo.

The money done went to Floyd's head

Don't need to see PBF beat him again.

GGG just proved that he can box and has good defense. And those body shots to Lemiuex.. wow. And dude practically won the fight with jabs, neutralized his opponent.

Looks like Wards moving up in weight to fight Kovalev, I was hoping he'd fight GGG first (since I think he might be the only one that can beat him in that weight class) but I like it that he is going head on for Kovalev. Hopefully Kovalev KOs Stevenson or Ward beat Stevenson before the two face-off.

ANDRE WARD TO RETURN ON COTTO VS. CANELO CARD; BEGINS ROAD TO SERGEY KOVALEV SHOWDOWN

Sources close to the information have informed us that undefeated super middleweight king Andre Ward will return to the ring in the co-main event to the highly-anticipated November 21 showdown between WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto and former jr. middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Although an opponent has yet to be named, we're told that the leading candidate is super middleweight contender Rohan Murdock (18-1, 14 KOs). An official announcement could come as early as Monday.

Evidently, the fight on November 21 will be the first of a 3-fight deal that Ward has agreed to with HBO, which will culminate in a showdown with unified light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev some time later in 2016. Ward last fought back in June, scoring a 9th round TKO of Paul Smith. Although that fight was originally scheduled to take place at a catchweight of 172 pounds, Smith came in overweight, tipping the scales at 176.4, more than a pound over the light heavyweight limit.

gennady has looked excellent thus far. The question is how good will he look against good opposition? 160 is lacking in talent right now.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt and say he looks better than the last dominant middleweight Sergio Martinez

Roman Gonzalez is something else

The stars of the previous era Floyd and manny weren't pressure fighters

Roman and gennady are bringing pressure back to the forefront

Chocolatito is on another level, got no problem putting him as the #1 p4p. Though I think he is on the same situation as GGG where his division (flyweight) is a bit thin right now, the guy he just beat (VIlaria) is/was 3rd ranked in the division? Curious if/when he will move up in weight, I think he can still take on bantamweights and it would be nice if he and Rigondeaux could somehow meet somewhere in between?

Maybe I am also more aware of the names in the middleweight but I feel that there are some talent there and still some good matches for GGG. Andy Lee, Quillin and N'Dam. Lara, Charlo twins and Trout could probably make the weight and be decent matches against GGG though Lara is the only one I see standing a chance. I actually would love to see GGG vs Lara.

I like it that GGG wants all the belt in 160 though so Canelo/Cotto better not run away from dude.

This is so sad, Arum calls his style boring but also too good that no one wants to fight him and then he gets stripped.

Guillermo Rigondeaux stripped of the WBO 122 title today due to "extraordinary inactivity." Hasn't fought since December 2014. #boxing

Add in the fact that he's been mismanaged, with his people allegedly demanding way too much for fights and he's all but wasted his prime. Word is that he may fight Loma, but again, Caribe is standing in the way due to their purse demand.

So who do you guys want Pacquiao to face in his last match? Word is that it's between Crawford, Bradley, and Khan. I think it'll be either Khan or Bradley (who btw looked at his best last night being trained by Atlas). I'm fine with either, and I kinda want him to beat the living shit out of Khan to shut up him.

RE: Ward vs Kovalev
Ward's first opponent for the Canelo-Cotto undercard was rejected by the nasc as being too far a mismatch. His next chosen opponent, again on very short notice, wasn't much better. He then pulled out of the fight due to a knee injury. So, he was supposed to have two tune ups at light heavy before facing Kovalev at the end of 2016. If he's on the same course, it looks like they might not fight until 2017. Kovalev in the meantime will fight Pascal again in like January, which I suppose is OK. I'd much rather see him fight Gonzalez, but I imagine they're saving that for later down the road.

Also, we might not see a Canelo/Cotto vs GGG after all, since even Canelo has said he won't fight him at 160. :/
