I've purchased several Brioni and S. Ricci ties, and sold just as many. But this guy seems to be running a good game.

Aren't these like $80 at Saks Off Fifth?

WTF

Ask him if he will buy at those prices.

And they're actually getting bids.....Hmmmm This reminds me of a record dealer on eBay who takes average, $3 records that you can find at any thrift shop and ends up selling them for hundreds.

Well I guess not everyone had thrift shops or Saks off 5th.

There are a few rare brands that sale for that much. S. Ricci does have a tie that cost over 1k. But Brioni doesn't have any tie that cost over $225. There are a few brands that are in the rare price arena such as the few listed below. Domenico Vacca nine-fold Dolcepunta RVR Confezioni Marzullo

Look at the account that bid. It's a fake to jack up the price.

Are there really people out there who are that clueless to outbid someone at more than double full retail price?

Edit : If you are out there, I will give you free shipping on all my auctions.

Yeah, on these auctions, perhaps. But the record dealer I'm talking about can't be a fake unless he has thousands of friends and or different accounts.
