What does getDigital do that you couldn't with some basic software?

100+ hours of manipulating CDs to rip MP3s. Something I would never actually do

Ripping a CD into MP3s takes a matter of minutes (I just did a 65 minute album in 5 minutes, including putting the CD in and opening the program). 250 CDs x 5 minutes each equals 1250 minutes, or about 21 hrs give or take. Which I would do in between surfing SF. Are they using a lossless format or just a standard MP3? What do they charge for this?

I did it myself and I wish I went the route that you took.

If you've got more money than time, congrats. I aspire to such a situation myself.

It takes me 15 min to open the case, rip the CD, check that all track info is correct, put back in case. That's 4 CDs per hour. They charge $1.49 per CD. Yes, unsurprisingly, I do value my time a bit more than $5.96 per hour. Especially my free time
