Actually it is good, I'm very happy with it so far. It's a 4inch screen Android ICS 4.0 phone with dual-core CPU. Feels very solid and well constructed, better than the Galaxy S I had. Very smooth and responsive, not laggy. Battery life is really good for an Android smart-phone,
2 whole days without charging. Has a 2500mA/h battery as standard. The Galaxy S with its 1500mA/h battery, could only manage one day without charging it. It's only got 4GB internal storage, but that's not a problem as I've put a 32GB micro-SD card in it.
Lenovo is a reputable manufacturer, it's just that they don't normally do cellphones outside of China, and the P700i is officially only sold in China. That's why it's dual-SIM rather than single.
BTW it was the screen itself that broke on the Galaxy, and not just the glass, had great big crack in it. Don't quite know how it happened, it was in my pocket, pulled it out and noticed that the screen was busted. I didn't drop it or anything. A quote for repair was more than what the Lenovo cost, so definitely not worth it.

...like any other Android there's multiple home screens, where you can add apps and widgets as you like.
