Probably a foregone conclusion that it's Macs, iPhones and iPads only. No PCs, no Androids, no Blackberrys at WWDC. Apple probably carefully selects and vets the audience, make sure there's no dissenters. Cheering fanboys and Apple employees only, a carefully orchestrated show..

Bought some reprints of old school racing related posters (monaco grand prix, tour de france) from a flea market and a dining set off craigslist.

Table and Chairs all from Crate & Barrel or CB2 for $100 total. Can't believe I nearly bought these kinds of stuff full price. May replace the chairs later though. The photo is from CL not my place.

Will try to upload pics of the prints a little later.

That's a steal for $100

Let me know how the table works out. I once tried the one from Ikea and it was junk. Wobbled way too much. Curious if this version is nicer.

Man I completely missed this question... shog[1].gif

It's from CB2. Bought it on sale. Been a great lamp so far and I have been happy with the purchase.

I have this table in yellow, which is a fair amount larger, and it is pretty stable. I wouldn't let someone sit on it (but who lets someone sit on their dining table?) but it is stable.

I think the issue is that it is just hard to make a stable table with a central leg with cheap components. The ikea Saarinen knockoffs are always going to be flimsy because you need a pretty heavy bit of steel to keep it rigid.

Oh, I agree with you. I would assume the $200 CB2 table he bought wouldn't be much better then the cheaper IKEA, but thought I would ask for a first hand account. Just curious, more then anything else. The one you own looks nice, but is also 5 times as much.
