Funny, that's exactly what I'm upgrading from (and a 6800GT). It lasted me almost 4 years, which is longer than any setup I've had before it, but the time has come.

Glad to hear it, I spent a lot of time looking at motherboards between $100-200 just to find that the Gigabyte met all my needs for a mere $90. I am looking forward to trying for a 3.2ghz overclock, which I think is well within the range of possibility.

My everyday home computer is an Athlon XP 2500+ Barton in a Shuttle SFF with Nforce2 graphics that I built in 2003. Using Adobe CS3 at home recently, I got the hankering for an upgrade ... to a Macbook Pro someday.

The article below gave me the idea. I had stability issues going close to 3.2 GHz, so I kept it lower; probably a combination of the cheap RAM I have and the fact that my elegant little PC-A05b Lian-Li finds it hard to deal with components that run very hot. Stock fans, except I switched out the intake fan for a Vantec Stealth 120mm I had, and added a panel with ventilation holes and a Lian-Li fan bracket with a low-rpm fan. $89 Pentium Dual Core that Runs at 3.2 GHz P.s. I got the E2160 from Newegg for about $79! From 1.8 stock to 3.0 GHz, not bad

I have a W600i as well. I bought because they didn't sell Helio phones in the states at the time. They had a phone call a Kick Flip that I still think about.

I just bought a Ridgid Shop Vac. I'm refurbishing a house that I just bought.... Not that Sexy.

I am a rampant consumerist.

Nah, those are at work. This laptop does have a dual core, but I dunno what the fuss is about, the 733Mhz PIII works just as well. (Meh, the laptop probably needs the one core just for Vista). ~ Huntsman

Art deco side table, with electric light fitted under the glass top. The (later) fabric under the glass will be leaving, together with the rotted cord. The light will make an excellent bedside table - nice, soft lighting. It's from a 30s cabaret theatre ("Chat Noir") here in Oslo:

A big ole Boos butcher block. Plain on one side, channeled on the other. Awesome.

Booked a long weekend in Chicago for May also.

Which wood did you go with? I like the walnut and the lyptus.
