Do you have one go-to blazer that comes out of your closet before all others? If so, what makes it your favorite and/or why is it so versatile? Do you have a blazer in a particular color that you never wear? Why is that color so lacking in versatility? Tell me what you like about your favorite blazers and what you dislike about your least favorite ones.
I want your input because I have an ulterior motive in posting this poll. I just ordered a MTM navy blazer, but now I have the opportunity to buy a burgundy blazer and/or a camel jacket for good prices. Since I've been on a major buying spree, I'm a little strapped for cash and don't want buyers remorse to set in. My thoughts are that burgundy is not an especially versatile color and I should probably pass on the burgundy blazer. Although a camel jacket is a classic, I have low contrast skin and hair and my skin has no golden tones, so my coloration makes me more of a Summer. I've read that Summers should avoid camel and, while I don't completely buy this and think most men can wear most colors, I might find it difficult to coordinate a camel jacket to construct good-looking, low-contrast outfits. So I'm especially interested to hear from those who own burgundy blazers and camel jackets, but I thought it would be fun to make the post more general and do a poll.
