Just Got the Boot From a 7 Year Job

Company merged with a bigger company and the new owners want to outsource their IT Dept. Oh well, I was bored to tears. Besides, it should be a cinch getting a new gig in this economy.

Much more common than you think. In our cul - de- sac, like 10 layoffs in the last 18 months. One guy was layed off twice, first company died, then second company died!

I am 14, and the closest I can get to a job is a paper round. D; You cant be hired in a job under 16, because 16 is the 'legal' age to work longer hours, plus at 16 you can leave school, and work permanently, or you get time off from college or 6th form, but in school you dont, so they are more likely to employ someone like

The feds are extending unemployment benefits by something outrageous like 36 weeks. If I were you I'd suckle off the government teat for a year, catching up on the stuff you never made time for during the last 7 years.
