Sleeveless crew neck sweater

Drake's have finally come up with a sleeveless crew neck jumper, but it is in fair isle.

I would have started with solid, plain colours first. Ideal for wearing under jackets, and until now, non-existent.

The sweaters are in Fair Isle because that was a way to get them in smaller quantities. None of the bigger weavers make them regularly, if at all.

Aren't these Drake's ones hand knit in Scotland? I remember some made to order website on here...

The knitters should make them. Sleeveless crew neck jumpers would be more comfortable under a jacket, and without the V that calls for a tie.

I didn't know that, very interesting.

I'm torn between this crew neck and the v-neck!

Yes, the fair isle is a bit "Some Mother's do 'Ave 'Em"/ suspect.
