+1. The second one -- it's a lot more stylish. I've seen folks wear wingtips with such giant holes. It just looks odd.

Anyone ever shopped with florsheim? I bought a pair of wingtips from them and their so comfortable. (Sorry I don't have >1000 to spend on shoes)

Old Florsheims were built to last. New ones are built to throw out after a year (and ugly). Try Crockett & Jones, Alden, Loake, Grenson and Allen Edmonds - they are all generally under $1000.
