well, no, but she's more or less indifferent to these things, and there are other considerations at play as well. Alcohol's pretty well my thing, for the foreseeable future.

Thomas, two things:

1) If you try rum, try and get a taste of Pyrats
2) WTF do you do/how much of an alchy are you, that you regularly go out to lunch to buy alcohol

1. Pyrats...hmmm, may have to set that one on the list.
2. I am a study in contradictions: Drink like Connemara, but able to hold down a job and run a 7-minute mile. In the morning, no less.

The more appropriate answer: lunchtime is errand time for me: I hate going to the store - any store - after work because that's when the hoi polloi are milling around the aisles and taking notes and calling on their cellphones to their spouses at home, asking if they prefer this brand or that brand of cottage cheese/rum/drain cleaner. No thanks. Pretty well everything I need is right around my office, I can typically knock out 3-4 errands during an hour at lunchtime where after work it would take me most of the evening.

I just don't post about hitting the Home Depot or buying CAT5 cabling for the house, because there are no threads about "I just bought a (techno-geek item)..."

Its Pyrat not Pyrats. You want the XO Reserve. I have yet to find the 1623 version but if you find it buy it and let me know how it tastes
