My lone complaint is I recall Mauro saying his next jean collab would be unveiled with full specs well before it was available for purchase. We're finding out about these jeans less than 24 hours before they're available to tote holders. On top of that, there's a significantly more limited run of these than the CvsF jeans, which is saying something when you consider how quickly most of those moved.
I foresee chaos tomorrow when these become available for purchase and any and all interested parties are asking the same minute questions they were during the last collab.
It's still great timing for me, but I still think the scheduling here is prime for a lot of madness in the coming days. Just my two cents.
108 pairs of CvsF / 110 pairs of these things iirc
MWoC updates that will only make you love the designer and jean even more. The reason for the multi gauge thread is because of two reason. 1. Post War ( WW2) Japan was broke and they didin't have the money to update the machinery. They used ( as MWoC is) pre-war machinery. 2. The multi gauge thread also provides more durability which you will notice on the J- stitch . You open and close the jean a lot so you want it to be tough. It also is unqiue in nature so it's difference is a thing of beauty which you guys appreciate. The reason MWoC choose the 13oz 3x1 was because of - The durability of fabric and its weave. the weave is very tight so little white will show. So coupled with the multi- gauge thread it provides strength and dimension while you are breaking in your jeans. The inseam is also Felled with a double needle stitch. This method is not used much and is the most secure method. The hem is chain stitched he choose this for the reason you guys love chain stitching. The roping. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. The measurements for every size should be finished today as well as Inseam measurements. Best, mauro
