I tend to buy what fits. I own some BR pants that are holding up well enough.

Had bad experiences with their Merino sweaters, though. Would not recommend.

I have some BR crewneck tees that I got 3 years ago which aren't too shabby actually. I mostly wear them when working out or fixing stuff. Besides that, yes, BR sucks.

The coat looks pretty big on you. Also a little off topic, but is that at Multonmah Falls by any chance? Oh yea back on topic, BR basically sucks, though I do like some tees I got there a little over a year ago.

Yep.

I have a feeling that the reason BR is falling behind is that the corporate side have been focusing on making GAP a relevant brand again. They have done a lot towards this goal and who knows, maybe when they feel they have it where they need it they will put more effort into BR's brand image and look.

They're becoming the GM of mall brands.

You heard it here first.

I heard decent things about their silm button downs, so I'm going to try them out this weekend.

What are some good B Rep alternatives for dudes who can't wear anything other than M Tall?

Does BR still make argyle half zip sweaters? I swear they haven't changed at all within the last decade.

What's wrong with these? I have a couple from JCrew that I love in the winter.

For the record, I also wear denim, chambray, and flannel that are approved by the forum.

I have a few of their slim fit button downs, a couple with French cuffs and one without. I bought them because the collars are a nice semi-spread and there aren't many cheap options for dress shirts that fit me - I wear a 36 jacket, and while the XS BR shirts fit me perfectly in the shoulders and neck, I still have to have them taken in a bit at the sides.

They aren't exactly high fashion, but they look good with a suit. And if I can get as good a fit with a $60 shirt and $15 trip to the tailor as a $130 MTM shirt, I don't see much of a point in bothering with the latter. Maybe when I get a job that requires me to wear a suit more than once or twice a month :P

Since there is always a sale going on at BR, I suspect they have raised the price of all there crap so as to trick people into thinking there getting a deal or something when in fact they are just paying the original price. The monogram and heritage lines are stupid because anyone who would notice the little added details don't shop at BR but with that being said, I don't think you can find a better belt at the price they charge and I typically check there website once a week or so to see if any pants are on good sale.
