Laguiole is more of a style than a brand. The name was never copyrighted so you do come across cheap-ass ones. You'll want ones that were made in France as these are, apparently. The two small pen knives, with the triangular shaped bee are likely Forge de Laguiole which I'm pretty sure i'm seeing on the blade stamp in one of the top pics. Forge de Laguiole is one of two companies that hand make their knives, the other being La Coutellerie de Laguiole. There's a company in Thiers-Issard that makes them too, but they're not hand made. Prices vary according to materials and vendor.

Google Laguiole knives and you'll find a variety all for much more than I'm asking.

These really are fantastic knives. I bought a picnic knife from jhcam8 recently, and it's wonderful. He also took time to educate me on Laguiole knives, and point me to independent sources of info., so he really does know his stuff--as does shiftless-bum, whose comments about Laguiloe are spot on. So, I'd say buy these knives in confidence of a great deal!

I should note I have no contact with jhcam8 apart from as a very satisfied buyer!

I bought a Laguiole knife when I was in France, and these are good prices for these being sold. They're a very elegant knife.
