is it just me or did STP jack up all of their prices just today? some of the johnston & murphy shoes i was eyeing are considerably more expensive now

You're right. I've been eyeing the men's dress coats and a few have gone up. Example: Gloverall Peacoat went from 170's to 217.50.

STP runs lots of temporary sales, & once the sale is over, the price goes back up. A while ago, they had a 50% off all footwear sale; I was hoping to find an active 30% coupon, but by the time one rolled around, the sale was off & the price was back to normal, so the 30% didn't really do much good.

Occasionally, conspiracy threads surface about STP's pricing; usually, I think it's a result of one of these sales ending. I've also benefitted from 30% off items already on substantial sale often enough to disbelieve those who argue that it's a deliberate strategy.

Changing the xxx's to your email address will not work. Instead, you have to go through a somewhat more laborious route for the 30% off. Go to http://email.SierraTradingPost.com/d...AB99A29F93E8BA and select to forward it to a friend. Forward it to your email address, and there you go.

Always clear your cookies. STP keeps track of you, and if you have STP cookies in your browser sometimes those click-through coupons do not work.
