Luckily, it isn't throat cancer again. A lesion from acid reflux I guess. Good news is that the doctors say he will sing again, but as of now is on strict vocal rest. Hope he gets well real soon.

BTW, thread title really had me worried.

Let us all observe a moment of silence, where we will go onto Wikipedia to find out who Levon Helm is.

You are an uncultured, backwater hick. I don't expect you to know who Levon is.

Levon and the band doing "Tennessee Jed" from a few months back. Killin' it, even though this was after he lost his voice. Performed anyways with a more ragged-sounding vocal.

Wait... was he Geordi La Forge, or was he the Church of Satan dude? If the latter, maybe it's for the best he can't talk.

I've met him and he is really a great guy in person. Hopefully he gets better soon.

Oh, Kwilkie, when did you stop being an interesting, funny, dynamic poster and instead became Conyay: Part Douche?

LEvon was Don Imus' favorite singer, and would play his single all the time.

I think a better question is "who did you confuse me with to find me interesting funny and dynamic?" :roma:

:edit *Ahem* "with whom did you have me confused" I meant.

Yeah. He was never able to sing/speak in the first place, and still did alright. What's Levon Helm's problem?

He actually was a pretty good singer. I don't get the whole "Dylan never sang well" myth.
