need denim from japan? or anything else? - Page 33

It's Sunday morning, I checked the EMS tracking number coldrice sent me... and yep, looks like my wallet is sitting in the post office. They won't be open for another 20 hours. It's days like this that I wish I was working there, so I could put in some extra hours sorting mail or something, and, you know... take home my wallet

Agony! Should I hit the post office before work tomorrow, making a lame sorry-I'm-late excuse, or work till lunchtime and hit the post office then?

Choices, choices

Yea, I'm moving around my stuff atm and I dont know where my Camera is, but I'll take pictures when I'm settled.

They're a little bit larger than tagged.. but nowhere near as large as Nudie, 5EP, APC, etc.

What japanese jean fits similiar to the NS? I only own a pair of rescues right now, but tried on some standards the other day. I thought they wouldn't fit, but I was able to get the buttons done and like the slimmer fit. I was previously going to get some PB-003s and am still considering doing so, but I don't want something that fits exactly like my rescues. I know most japanese denim are based off of 501s and won't taper like the NS, but I just want something "slimmer" fitting than my other jeans.

horriblyjollyjinx' blog http://repeattofade.blogspot.com has pictures of him wearing NS and SD-103, and Samurai SO505XX, and also a buyers guide for slim Japanese jeans. I recommend it!

hey, if someone's interested in a natural indigo jean with a jomon cut without the jomon price... i found something Kapital natural indigo model. fit is excellent- i'll try to post pictures of me trying them on- hopefully they are clear enough. they are about the same price as the Aihiko's but the cut is like the Jomon's.

ok, so i'm going to take a short trip to taiwan from the 11th-16th. i am leaving japan on the 18th to go to shanghai for a few days, then i'm heading back to the states for good. SO this means you need to get in your last orders ASAP. i will be back in osaka for the 16th and 17th- i will probably only take orders for things i can readily get here (not pure blue japan or eternals- i'll have to see. i can get SDA, 45rpm, warehouse, denime, sugar cane, evisu, full count, etc. pretty easily). and I don't really want to spend my last day buying stuff for other people. So it would be good if you got your order in before July 8th. I will continue accepting orders at my discretion after that. Please email me your orders, I reply to PM's much slower. Thank you.

How do the umii's fit compared to Sorahiko's? Thanks
post #492 of 532
The Umii's distressing is the best, most realistic distressing I've ever seen in a pair of pre-washed jeans. Period! Absolutely amazing work.

they fit similar to the jomon's - so they are slimmer than the sorahiko's. excellent fit i must say.

I'm just curious. I haven't tried on the Canes I got yet (on the last month or so with my Nudies), but I'd like to know if they're the one wash preshrunk ones, or if I have to soak it myself when I get around to it? Oh, and brilliant price and delivery time
