Some enterprising entrepreneur on this board ought to take those t-shirt designs and totally pirate them, effectively doing to the Japanese repros what they are doing to the original American brands, and thereby creating a new, even super-cooler class of streetwear that is trendy, sophisticated, exotic, and ironic all at the same time.

BTW -- just thinking of this -- is that design mocking Americans? I think it is!

It is pretty funny. Of course, if we printed a design mocking Japanese in a similar stereotypical way, it wouldn't go over too well.

Mockery of Japanese people is pretty common... so I'd say were even.

Isn't D'artisan the western pig or something?

Oh, one last thing. McDonald's is *huge* in Japan. I wouldn't be surprised if the D'aRtisan shirt was just mocking McDonald's in general, not necessarily American.

Just a heads-up in case anyone is interested. My brand new Pure Blue Japan AI-001's are for sale in the buying and selling forum. A bunch of pictures too. Just didn't fit. Here's the link: http://styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=15804

Woah... that IS nice, I don't think I can pull it off though (yes, I am a boring old codger). WHat is it, linen, cotton, synthetic?

Does anyone know anything about the fit of Alfredo Bannister shoes? Do they run big, small, normal? I'm looking at these in particular.
