I do wonder, though, why they closed the lower button. This coat was clearly not cut for that.

This suit is uglier than sin.

This looks good to you? If so, my judgments must be way off base. I think it looks awful, even putting the bottom button aside. The shoulder line is a mess, there is a ripple in the right lapel, and the trousers look bootcut.

I just said the lapels were nicely done (and by that I was referring to the edges only!)
The ripples in the shoulder are a result of the guy's thick neck, so the collar is too tight.
I guess the "tailor/cutter" had only the basic measurements of the male mannequin, not his neck width.

(Question to those who go bespoke: Do your tailors measure your neck? Or ask for your shirt neck size?)

Actually, the suit (and his maker) didn't make the top 5! And for a reason. Plenty of reasons, actually!

The making is partly shown in the BBC episode "New Blood" (the 3 part series about Savile Row).

Didn't Powell reach the finals of the Golden Shears Award with this suit?

+10. You don't contribute anything of real value. The pics were amusing the first 5 times.

^^ maybe for you. For me they were irritating from the word go. Bull, if you insist on posting these irrelevant pics, at least get a new tagline. Using vox's oooops is gauche to say the least

@ aj_del and the rest of you, my apologies for punctuating your day with the occasional tastefully-done photo of a hot piece of tail. I meant no disrespect. I will no longer antagonize you with such filth.

Warmest Regards,
Bull

^^ Please post them in the relevant threads in the E &C forum. I appreciate the quality of pics but feel this is not the place for them.

However, multiple rabbit pics are welcome!

OK, here is a gift to the h8ers.

I brought the jacket back to A&S yesterday to ask them to fix the sleeves. They denied there was a problem. I suppose I could have flat-out insisted that they take it but they gave me the distinct impression that nothing would be done. Hell, they might even have refused to take it for all I know.

So I took it back with me, hacked off at having been give the old-school SR brush-off.

Disappointing, to say the least.

WOW!!

All the A&S clients I have started with me after saying they had the same experience.

Just a comment, not a pitch.
