Looks like one of those rounded formal vests you typically see with tuxedos.

Looks odd. I guess it's the waist coat reduced to its essence. Covers the waist when you have to, stays out of sight when you don't.

I really dislike Sherwood's wide ties. BTW, I saw him hurrying through London last week, sporting a slight collar gap, if I am not mistaken...

Die, Workwear just posted a nice collection of videos and pictures on A&S and their tailoring process:

For some reason, my previous post appears empty. Anyway, it was about Die, Workwear's recent post of A&S videos and pictures. Go to the site to see them:

A&S is in NYC next week. Did Manton resolve the sleeve issue with them ultimately, or did it actually settle in on its own. Asking out of genuine interest!

Quite apart from the above comment ... tailors have always had a fussy client or two ... but I'd imagine that with SF they are much more plentiful today.

Graydon Carter of Vanity Fair is an A&S guy.

Do you vary names by season? Change of wardrobe = change of SF name?

I will be wearing a conservative A&S suit. I'll be visiting Wall Street. I hope the suit and I survive.
