I'm sure I could make a lot of them. the point is that I had kind of a disbalance of strength between upper legs muscles and lower legs muscles when I was young. my lower legs muscles were much stronger so the kneecaps scratched over the joints, the result was more cartilage then needed. so the surface became irregular, giving me a lot of pain. got a therapy of 6 months because of that.

this is another reason why I am not building up muscles anymore, especially at my legs, it's very hard for me to get to the point when I get exhausted, so my training could easily create another imbalance. that's why I replied to anonymouschris ..
