Esquire had a Coca-Cola brined friend chicken recipe that looked amazing. Try that. Also, some of these suggestions (especially the absurd ones) border on genius.

Some beer battered mahi mahi for fish tacos.

You can try the novelty items (snickers bars, oreos, etc.) once, but they make a mess of the fryer and oil. Don't get me wrong - amazing culinary creations both - but the batter is about the consistency of pancake mix. You get little droplets in the oil and it will stick to the fry basket.

For best results, fry all the things that usually come out limp and disappointing in the oven: spring rolls, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks.

Sliced plantains dipped in brown sugar to caramelize, then serve with vanilla ice cream. Your guests will be impressed!

TTTT, Esquire's Coca-Cola brined fried chicken recipe was not bad. I believe they gave Foo a copy.

Deep fried foie is actually really good.
So is pork belly. Brine it, braise it, then deep fry it. Increeeeeedddddiible.

Also, j, this is a great recipe:
Get some potatoes, wash them, and bake them in an oven at 350 for 55 minutes. Pull them out, let them rest. Peel them and grate them. Add a bunch of chives, some creme fraiche for creaminess, and some egg just to make it a little bit thicker. Add salt to taste. Fry in the deep fryer til golden. Delicious.
