12/23 BIG DROPS! "Steppin' Out" shirts (from my closet). R.Graham, Versace, Etc

I admit it. I'm a total clothes junkie. When it comes to clothes, shoes/boots, and accessories I think it's safe to say that I have a lot of everything. I enjoy it all. But with few exceptions nothing brings me more pleasure than my shirts. As many of you know I've amassed quite a collection over the years...close to 700 shirts (and I'm always adding more)!! Many if not most of my shirts would be considered to be fairly high end (a couple dozen of them retailed for $1000+). For one reason or another, every now and then I'll sell off a few of them. The shirts in this listing have either a) never been worn (a couple pf them still have their tags), or b) they were barely worn and are in mint or near-mint condition. I've lost over 35 lbs this past year and some of the shirts being offered here are now too large for me to wear. BTW- These are not my typical photos. My house is still a war-zone due to all the remodeling. It's a PIA to get over to my light box. It was easier to just take my tripod outside and shoot there. No white balance required. Plenty of natural light! Now on to the shirts (In no particular order)... PLEASE NOTE: If you haven't purchased from me before, please read the notice at the bottom of the listing! #1). SOLD! Robert Graham- Purple & Green diagonal plaid. The cuffs, inside and under the collar, and the placket have all been done in a contrasting pattern. 100% cotton. Has a kind of silk-like texture. Mint. Sz. Large 25" pit-to-pit, 20" shoulders, 25.75" sleeve from shoulder seam My price $41. Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) #2). Robert Graham- The "Library" shirt. Fun shirt. My wife's a teacher (she now teaches at a private school- HS Math). I wore it to the annual fund raiser. Everyone made a big fuss over the shirt. Now I can't very well wear it again next year. 100% cotton Sz. Large 24" pit-to-pit, 20" shoulders, 24.75" sleeve from shoulder seam My price $39 $35 $30. Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) Sorry this is so out of focus. The wind kept moving the shirt every time I went to click the shutter... #3). Robert Graham- Brand new...never been worn. With its subtle, repeat pattern (money bags), done in a light blue cotton, and the classic dk blue accent stripe, this shirt is a lot easier to wear than many of the more typical, over-the-top Robery Graham's. 100% cotton Sz. Large 24.5" pit-to-pit, 20.25" shoulders, 25" sleeve from shoulder seam My price $89 $82 $73(MSRP is $228). Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) This 1st photo was shot back in the Spring. Shooting outdoors really helped to get that shade of light blue! Please note, sometime after shooting this I misplaced the RG tag. I've searched all over and I can't find it. If it's important to you I will keep looking around for it. #4). Ralph Lauren Purple Label- Gorgeous, blue and white floral, 100% silk shirt. I love the shirt but I only got to wear it twice. This beauty was really too large on me to begin with (I normally wear a sz L/16.5). But then I went and lost all that weight (35+ lbs!) and it's definitely too large for me now.. Made in Italy Sz. 17.5 27" pit-to-pit, 20.25" shoulders, 26.5" sleeve from shoulder seam My price $82 $73 $64 (original MSRP was $425). Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) #5). SOLD! Etro- One of my all-time favorite shirt brands! This is a very nice, multi-colored stripe. Like the silk, blue floral, Purple Label (above), this was another tough one to let go. I like it a lot. But once again my weight loss was the deciding factor (I'm still losing weight). The shirt is a size 44 EU (more or less equivalent to an XL) and I now comfortably wear a 42 EU in Etro. Made in Italy Sz. 44 EU 25.5" pit-to-pit, 20.75" shoulders, 25.25" sleeve from shoulder seam My price $59 $52 (original MSRP was $350). Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) #6). SOLD! Barney's New York- A very attractive, nicely made, easy-to-wear shirt. Back in the Spring, when I purchased the shirt, I knew that the sleeves were too long on me. But I never got around to having them shortened. A woven that looks and feels like 100% cotton but it is in fact 75% Cotton, 22% Polyamide, 3% Spandex. Made in Portugal It doesn't look as if it's been worn. But it is possible that I may have worn it once (If I did it was with the sleeves rolled up)...but I just can't recall for sure. At any rate, it's in perfect condition and it's now for sale at a great price (I also recently realized that I have a Zegna shirt that is quite similar). Sz. L 24.5" pit-to-pit, 20.5" shoulders, 26.25" sleeve from shoulder seam My price $39 $35 (original MSRP was $195). Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) #7). Romeo Gigli...Vintage, but NWT!!!- I can still recall when I purchased this shirt about 15 yrs ago at Century 21 in NY (From their store that was located right near Ground Zero). Made in Italy, this is a beauthiful, ivory shirt done in a crepe-like, 100% cotton. This is yet another one of my shirts where the sleeves are wayyyy too long for me. Over the years it has been sitting alongside all the rest of my many white/off-white shirts and I just keep forgetting to have the sleeves shortened. I never wore it. In fact the tag is still attached!! Great shirt for a tall fellow with long arms. Sz. M Neck feels like about a 15.5" 23.25" pit-to-pit, 20.25" shoulders, 27.25" sleeve from shoulder seam, The full length is 33.75" (from collar to hem) My price $60 $51 $41 (original MSRP was $250+...and that was 15 yrs ago!). Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) #8). Robert Graham- Green with contrast fabric inside and under the collar, under the cuffs, and along the placket. In case you can't tell, I like fun shirts...and very few companies do "fun" like Robert Graham (IE. Versace, Etro). And so, I own a lot of Robert Graham shirts! And several of them are bright green...very much like this one. 100% cotton. Sz. L 25.5" pit-to-pit, 21" shoulders, 25.25" sleeve from shoulder seam My price $41 $35 $29 (original MSRP was $198). Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) The inside of the cuffs are done in the same contrasting fabric #9). Versace- Purple/lilac with multi-color accent designs. 100% silk This shirt is about 15 years old. Which means that it was made when Gianni was still around. I own quite a lot of Versace. Although it's been a number of years since I purchased Versace on any sort of regular basis, there was a time when it was often suggested (by employees of Versace and Neiman Marcus) that I (had) one of the larger collections of mens Versace on the east Coast, if not the country. But little-by-little over the past few years my Versace collection has begun to shrink, as I sell off a few pieces every now and then. Sz. 50 (Med/Large). 23" pit-to-pit, 19.75" shoulders, 25.25" sleeve from shoulder seam My price $129 $119 (original MSRP was $950+). Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) #10). Versace- Vivid, multi-color "Picasso" pattern. 100% silk This shirt is about 16 years old. Which means that it was made when Gianni was still around. This shirt would surpise you if you saw it on. It looks way better on than it does on a hanger in a photo (aka . If I was a few years younger I would not be selling it (I can still pull off some of my brighter Versace shirts, but at my age it's not as easy as used to be). Sz. M 24.75" pit-to-pit, Designed with a drop shoulder...But it fits me perfect and I normally require a 25" sleeve length (from the shoulder). My price $129 $119 (original MSRP was $550). Includes shipping ConUS (Please contact me for shipping outside US) That all for now. Please note- As with all of my previous sales threads items are sold in the order in which I receive PM's. I accept Paypal only (only "instant" Paypal...e-checks take too long to clear and it's a PIA to have to check every day to see if the money is in my account yet or not). I expect prompt payment or I will move on to the next interested buyer. I know this may sound arrogant to some...but I prefer not to spend days and days with my listings. If I can't move something fast, get paid quickly, and move one...then I will surely lose interest in doing this. FYI- If you live outside the US I will (usually) be happy to ship to you. Please contact me. Please let me know if you have any questions. And as always, thanks for looking! Dennis

I've added a few more shirts.... a couple of Versace's and another Robert Graham. I may have more to add later on. Although I've consolidated most of my shirts into our bedroom's walk-in closet, I still gotta look through some other closets, which are spread out over a few different rooms (The walk-in closet is now all mine and filled with only my shirts. We've turned a spare bedroom into one giant closet and my wife is using about 2/3rds of that and I have the other third...and everywhere else!),

How about a couple of $2000+ shirts! I'm considering selling a couple of my very best Versace silks (I do have more...). I grabbed some quick pics outside: Check out the ruffles on the following shirt (the original price tag was $2400...and that was in 1993!!). Short story- I thought I had lost this shirt. I went looking for it yesterday and couldn't find it anywhere. It wasn't with my other Versace shirts. I searched all over the house. I finally found it this morning... As it so happens the guy who was the foreman on our home remodeling job, had seen the shirt draped over the upstairs banister, just outside the bedroom where much of the remodeling work is being done (I had just picked up the shirt from our extraordinary, "old world" chinese family-owned dry cleaners, where they actually hand clean my good Versace silks, one-shirt-at-a-time!!). He decided that the shirt was in the way and without asking anyone, he took the shirt, along with a pair of $950 creme-colored, all-season wool, Brioni trousers which were also on the banister (price tag still attached-I'm thinking of listing these as well), and he placed them on the bed in the spare bedroom. He then proceeded to stack a huge pile of coats on top of the shirt, along with a host of other things that had been in one of the upstairs closests! You can imagine my horror when I found the shirt and the trousers this morning lying at the bottom of that pile!!! (you can see the wrinkles in the shirt...especially along the bottom, blue border). FYI- I fired that foreman and his entire crew just 5 days into the job. And that was before I knew what he had done to my good clothes.

Gorgeous versace stuff! I have over 100 versace ties of which 80 are from Giannis time period. I get so many compliments on them at work. Also have quite a few vintage belts, some with HUGE medusa buckles. Great shirts by the way. What are the prices? Ankur
