If you haven't been to Craigie on Main yet, go...good food, and good bar.

I went to West Side Lounge last weekend and wasn't impressed with the service. The food was okay, but my lamb was overdone. Edit: Craigie on Main is on my list, and you just bumped it up a couple notches.

Same side of the street. My favorite coffee shop, Simon's, and my favorite Mexican joint, Boca Grande, are on that side too. The other side has Abodeon, which is interesting.

I just recently bought from Tom James for the first time. When my order came back, the trousers were all too loose, shoes too big, sweater shirt too small, jeans too large and long, and suit jacket/blazer were ill fitting as well. Worst fitting I've ever experienced. I will NOT be buying from TJ again. Also, I found their salesman aggressive and not customer service oriented when all of the order problems were identified. The response ignored the issues identified but simply inquired if I could adjust my schedule to meet his since he was really busy on our agreed upon day of delivery of the remainder of my order. Never again !!!

Sorry to hear some of the bad reports from Tom James history. I work for the company in the London office and am happy to answer any questions openly and honestly as best I can. Service should be paramount as we are not tailors who visit but advisers that should be trained well enough to be able to measure very well and be knowledgable in fit, style and issues that arise form tailored clothes day to day.

We are a large company and do one of the best services I think imaginable from my end of things but know we can improve on the results sent here. If anything further can be given over to me would happily pass on as bad service is unforgivable. Bad tailoring, well we are human and mistakes will happen but should not majorly if we are training correctly.

This is not however to say we advertise ourselves as or in the same breath as cutters and bespoke tailors as we admire the quality and fit of any reputable establishments. But we do aim to be the best visiting service in the world and hope we can get better every year so that our quality and service match the very best in the business.

Check out my personal blog for more info on me.
